Welcome Ellie Dane 🚀
We’re very pleased to introduce Ellie who has joined our Client Services Team as an Account Manager. She will be helping with the day to day running of projects and generally keeping our special clients happy!
“ I’m keen to keep learning more about ActionRocket, and get up close and personal to see how we work side-by-side with our amazing list of clients.”
Hi Ellie, it’s awesome to meet you and a big welcome to ActionRocket! We’d love to know a little more about you, so tell us about your background and where you have joined us from?
Thanks! After studying Marketing at Coventry University for three years, I have had the pleasure of working in client-side and agency roles in various areas including marketing, client services, and operations. Most recently I worked at Rakuten Advertising where I was an Account Manager specialising in affiliate marketing for three and a half years.
What are you most looking forward to about your new role and having joined the ActionRocket team?
Coming from a big company, I’m most excited to be working in a smaller team, and collaborating closely with my new colleagues! It’ll be great to manage projects and campaigns from start to finish to really get a flavour for the company through the year!
What is the most exciting thing you’ve done this year (professionally or personally!)
Aside from getting a new job at ActionRocket I have enjoyed getting back to what feels like a ‘new’ normal. Being able to leave the house has been a huge bonus! Attending gigs and enjoying music in person for the first time in almost two years has been a personal highlight. Whilst I still haven’t managed to leave the country for a holiday since 2019 (damn you Covid!), I did manage to get away for a slightly soggy walking holiday to the peak district in October which was great (albeit slight rainy)! This year my goals outside of work are simple - get on a plane!
Where do you get your creative inspiration from?
My go-to is always Pinterest - it can help with anything (professional or personal) whether you need a new idea, or inspiration for an existing one…there’s a board out there for everything! I’m also an avid walker. Going for a walk at lunch also always helps me to clear my mind and come up with new ideas.
What’s your favourite song to work to?
Point of View by DB Boulevard (because who doesn’t love a 00s one-hit wonder!). It’s an instant mood lifter - as soon as I hear the intro I feel motivated to conquer any task!
Leave us with an interesting fact about yourself…
As a child I was on Dick & Dom in Da Bungalow. I’ve never been fed so many sweets in my life!
