“I’m excited to learn about the exciting technological capabilities of email”

Hey Jasmine, it’s awesome to meet you and a big welcome to ActionRocket! We’d love to know a little more about you, so tell us about your background and where you have joined us from?

It’s a pleasure joining the team and I’ve joined ActionRocket from my previous role as a Digital Marketing Manager at a full service agency. I have been in the digital marketing industry for a little over 4 years now and have experience in Web Design, Content Creation, Social Media Marketing, Copywriting, Search Engine Marketing and much more! I am also a part-time student, studying a Masters in Digital Marketing with Data Analytics, which I am due to complete in March 2022.

What are you most looking forward to about your new role and having joined the ActionRocket team?

I am looking forward to diving deeper into the world of design and email marketing! I’m also very excited to learn about the exciting technological capabilities of email and the creative things our design and coding teams are able to produce for the clients we work with.

What is the most exciting thing you’ve done this year (professionally or personally!)

Well this year has been the busiest year of my life (no joke). This year I have mainly been focused on balancing work, my studies and my personal life. I got engaged in June, bought my first home in October, started a new job with ActionRocket in November and I’m getting married in December, so I can honestly say, every month has been exciting and I’m really looking forward to ending the year on a brilliant note.

Where do you get your creative inspiration from?

I draw my inspiration from being outdoors mostly. I love going out on walks through forests and other scenic areas around my neighbourhood. I always feel that a walk through beautiful places and a glimpse of nature allows me to clear my mind and come up with ideas or things I hadn’t necessarily thought of before.

What’s your favourite song to work to?

I listen mainly to Classical music or Jazz when I work, those are the only real genres that don’t distract me when I’m typing or looking over important documents.

Leave us with an interesting fact about yourself…

I’m half Moroccan and speak French, Arabic and a little Spanish. I’m very connected to my Moroccan roots and as a child, I would spend 2 months in Rabat each year for the summer holidays, so I have a large group of friends and a lot of family there that I try to see as often as possible. My favourite part of Morocco is a place called Akchour that is in the Rif mountains and has numerous waterfalls which you can hike up and dive off of in the summer.
