Welcome Justin Yeaman 🚀

We’re very pleased to introduce Justin who joined our Client Services Team this year as our Account Director. He’s been with us for a while now but we’d love to get to know him a little better.

Justin tell us about your background, where have you joined us from previously?

I started in an integrated agency when that was a relatively rare thing. I was lucky that the MD was a very talented Planner who taught me strategy as well as account management. Apart from spells at Grey and McCann Erikson, my time has mostly been in smaller agencies, which I prefer as your remit tends to be more varied and interesting.

I’ve been lucky to work with some great clients on some amazing projects. Too many to list, but my favourite was developing an adult soft drink from scratch for The Coca-Cola Company. Not only did I get to see how new drinks are formulated, but the research involved going into nightclubs across Europe to see what people thought of our creation. Well someone had to do it.

I spent a year working for a Corporate Venture Capital, which was a great experience to see how things are done differently and how they looked to nurture the brands they had invested in.

What makes ActionRocket different from other places you have worked?

A complete lack of egos. Makes the working day so much more pleasant.

Which brands stand out to you most in your inbox?

End Clothing, Sneaker Freaker, Electronic Arts, KAWSONE

Where or who do you get your creative inspiration from?

When I'm out walking. London or countryside.

What’s your favourite song to work to?

Soul in Isolation - The Chameleons.

I got the worst pre-Sandhurst report in the history of the 17th/21st Lancers. Turns out I'm a lover not a fighter.
