Welcome Lucy Maltby 🚀
We’re very pleased to introduce Lucy who joined our Client Services Team this year as an Account Manager, let’s get to know her a little better.
Lucy it’s lovely to sit down with you! Let’s start by finding out a little more about your background, where have you joined us from?
My previous role was Creative Lead for an advertising agency working for a variety of (mainly US) brands across web, email and social content. Previous to that the majority of my experience has been working with brands and small agencies which I love being a part of. Working as a designer in past roles, I’ve always managed my own client accounts, making the transition into Account Manager feel smooth.
What makes ActionRocket different from other places you have worked?
In my first individual meetings with the team, a lot of them said that it feels like a family environment and they definitely weren’t wrong. The working environment is potentially the best I’ve had!
Do you have a motto or ethos that helps you in your everyday work?
Always take a step back during projects to reflect. A new perspective on things always helps!
Where or who do you get your creative inspiration from?
Literally everywhere. Sometimes it’s easy to dismiss something that you walk past everyday as inspiration but when you really look, it might be a different story. Music also helps!
What’s your favourite song to work to?
Today, Pompeii by Bastille but this changes on a daily basis depending on the mood I’m in.
Leave us with an interesting fact about yourself…
Apparently I don’t do things by halves. In the last few years, I’ve bought a house & become a dog mum. In the last few months, I’ve gotten married, been on honeymoon & started a new job!
